I'm almost scared to "say" this... terrified, actually...
I'm remarkably un-itchy right now. Have been for a day or so...
The prednisone seems to be the miracle cure I've been waiting for to rid me of this rash.
I would just like to know why I wasn't given this precious pill in the first place...
Why have I been left in misery to itch myself into deep purple bruises all over my legs?
Doctors are so irritating at times....
Now I have to go knock on every piece of wood in this house, because I've probably jinxed myself.
Oh, and I have not been taking the Ambien, so honestly, I don't know if it's the lack of Ambien that's cured me or the addition of Prednisone...

Actually, I think that doctors don't really like to prescribe prednisone if they don't have too. Obviously if your on it for along time, it can cause alot of problems to your body...weight gain, vision problems...but that is when you take it for awhile with a long amount.

Yipee! That's good news! My hubby thinks that Prednisone is a miracle drug -- for everything! So glad you're feeling "un-ichy"!
okay but be careful with the pred...its not good to take for ever. i hope ur doc has u on it for a SET time and then weans you off because it's not super good for you for long periods of time.

You know, the last two months of my pregnancy I got some rash called PIPs or PUPs or something like that and it was horrible! I couldn't take anything to get rid of it and it was everywhere. I tell you this so you know that I feel your pain. Itching is horrible! Itching that won't stop is excruciating!
