Pillow Talk

Last night after I posted my most recent venting session on here, I went and laid in bed with Emma and watched The Goodnight Show with her for a bit. That is such a peaceful thing for me, which is definitely what I needed last night, because I was just spent emotionally. Around midnight, I turned the tv off and we just layed there together, in the dark and had some pillow talk.

I think she could sense that I was a little out of sorts, because she became so motherly to me. She scooted over to where I was to "snug" with me and she cradled my face in her hands and whispered, "Mommy, I love you ten thousand times". Ah. Did God just give me an angel or what? She's so like that. So much so that I always feel so guilty when I discipline her because she's got such a kind heart. I just love her. After she got me laughing with her random little thoughts, she started telling me, "I love your..... eyebrows! I love your... eyelashes! Mommy! Did you know that camels have eyelashes so that when there is a big storm and sand flies in the desert, their eyelashes catch the sand so it won't get in their eyes?"

Where do kids learn these things? Tony, did you teach her this about the camels?

So, on another note... this is my 100th blog post on here! So excited!!
