Emma's New Blankie
I love making these blankets! Can you tell? So, thanks again, Jessica, for telling me how to make them! I'm just thrilled with the way they both turned out and Emma is in love too. The whole time I was putting hers together tonight, she kept asking me every five minutes... "are you done yet, Mommy, are you done yet???" So sweet, it reminded me of when I was about eight years old and my granny crocheted me a small blanket and I sat by her side all day and into the evening until she was done with it. I remember doing the same thing... asking her over and over and over if she was done yet. I'm sure she had intended to make it much larger, but I asked her so much until finally, she laughed her sweet laugh and gave it to me. I slept with mine that night and Emma's downstairs in my bed right now all snuggled up in hers.

Love the blanket its so pretty and the colors are great. It looks so soft and cozy and I am sure Emma slept like a little princess :o)
So cute! Did Emma pick out the fleece fabric? or did you? It looks adorable. I bet she had alot of fun cuddling up to it last night to sleep with!
Emma's blankie is soooo adorable. this is making me want to make some more, it's so fun right and SOO easy!!
the one i made kora is her favorite blanket EVER, i bet emma claims hers as the favorite as well.
wait till you wash it a bunch of times and they play with those little knots while they fall asleep and watch tv. it will become even more loved and huggable!
oh and one more thing. i'm sorry i wasn't there for you when you first posted the pics. u know me, i'm an early bird and go to bed at like 6pm...hehe. no not really but close. i was probably all cuddly in my bed with my lover when you were needing me to look at noah's!!

Her blanket is adorable! Those are my favorite blankets as well. I used to make a small one for all my friend's babies when they were born....since I don't sew or knit. They all seemed to enjoy them. I'm sure that Emma will love hers.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the ladybugs! They both turned out so cute! All my kids have one, Caroline still sleeps with hers every night. They wear so well, you would never guess it was 5 years old already!
A-DOR-ABLE!!!!!!! oh goodness, the blankie is so precious, but then with Emma hugging it... just simple perfection!! So sweet! Great job!
