This is where I'm from. I was born here, I went to Kindergarten here. After Kindergarten, I moved with my mom to Atlantic Beach, NC for my mom to expand our family's business. I was so sad by this. My whole family was here and I had spent at least 80% of the first 6 years of my life with my grandma, so to leave her was extremely difficult for me. So, when Tony and I moved back here after we were married, it was so nice to be back HOME.
Also, this is where my first friends were. The first friends I ever made in my life. The great thing about this particular thing, though, is that I always came back here to go to summer camp with some of my first friends. And Shannon was one of those friends that I always got to see at summer camp.
And for at least the past year we have been talking about having a playdate with our kids and we've never actually set a date until last week. So, today was our playdate and it was so much fun! Landon and Emma got along so well. They were instant friends. And this really says something for what a sweet kid Landon is, because Emma was quite the fussy little drama queen today. She scratched her foot and it was the tiniest little scratch that produced the smallest trace of blood imaginable and you would've really thought that her foot had just been forcably ripped from her body.
This is why Shannon said she was scared of having girls. The DRAMA. :)
Here are some great pictures from today.
Noah was a little sketchy about the swing at first, but after a few minutes, he was totally loving it and giggling his squealy little giggle.
And Bradon is the sweetest, QUIETEST little thing! I hardly heard a single peep from him, which is just the opposite of Noah, he's rarely if ever NOT making some sort of noise.
He was having such a good time!
