Totally Unexpected One

Sunday, I was so exhausted when we got home from the beach, I really just wanted to go to bed at 7pm. Noah did, which basically meant I could. However, I hadn't done my Mission 24 challenge yet, and I'm trying really hard to not skip one, so I got my camera and went on my mission around my house to find something to photograph that would somehow portray the challenge word, "change". I ended up taking this picture of my front door's wreath.. to signify the changing of the seasons... and I won!!! Woo Hoo!!! I was so excited and so proud of myself that I persevered and didn't give in to the temptation to be a slacker and skip out! :) Thanks so much to my fellow Mission 24 girls! I just love you guys so much.. you add so much to my life! :)

I'm so excited!! I won overall best image for my photography challenge, Mission 24!!!

Those of you who are not members of this group probably wonder why I get so stoked... but if you go check out the page and look at all the other amazing posts we get there for each and every challenge, you would completely understand my excitement!

New Friends

This is a shoutout to my new friend Rachel.... she's the moderator on the photography challenge blog I'm a member of. She called me a little bit ago to thank me for being part of the blog! She thinks I'm really talented, which in and of itself is just amazing to me!

WOW!!!!! Is what I want to go outside and scream for all the world to hear. I feel so privleged to be a member... such an amazing group of talented girls that inspire me daily to be better.

I just want her to know that she made my whole week.... month... possibly year. :)

Also, Alynn... she and I have been reading each other's personal blogs for a while now and I'm so happy to have met her through the blog too!

I love meeting new friends... You girls ROCK!

I'm a WINNER!!!!

Most of you know that I'm a member of a site called MISSION 24 here on blogspot. It's a photography challenge and we get two challenges a week. Well, our challenge for Saturday was "SIMPLE" and the picture above was my submission. It's just a reminder of simpler times to me. So, anyway, we do vote on who had the "best take" on the word and the "best overall picture" for each challenge and I won the award for BEST OVERALL!!! Woo Hoo!! It's so nice for someone that's not my mom to think something I've done is amazing. :)
