Emma is a dancing queen, for those of you who don't know her well. Emma is one of those girls that will probably take dance classes throughout her childhood and adolescent years. She loves it and savors every minute.
As much as it sometimes inconveniences my Tuesday schedule and Noah's nap schedule, I truly do enjoy watching her. She is in her element and she loves it.
Yesterday was parent observation day for us parents to come and sit in on the class and watch as they practice their recital routines. Emma was so excited about mommy sitting there and watching her for the entire hour and a half. She was just giddy with excitement the whole way there.
When we first arrived, I had to get a shot of her getting out of the car, because she was just too cute in her ballet outfit, North Face jacket, and cowgirl boots. I mean... REALLY. Could she BE any cuter? She's mine, I'm allowed to think she's the cutest thing to ever grace the floor of a ballet studio. ;)
Contrary to the way these pictures appear, Emma is NOT in private lessons, there are other girls in her class. I was just hesitant to take a lot of pictures of the other girls, because I knew they were coming straight here... to the blog.
Emma takes Jazz, Tap, and Ballet, so that's why the shoes change in the pictures. ;)
The picture on the right is such an Emma look, so that's why it HAD to come to the blog.
Here's one with some of the other girls pictured. There are other girls on the other side of Emma as well, it's just a really big room so they have lots of room to spread out.
Of course, I took tons more pictures, these were just some of my favorites. I'm sure I'll do a more lengthy post on my photography blog later in the week. :)

Oh these pictures bring back such fun memories of dance class! I love that you took pictures of her on this special day! She's totally going to love these in the future! :)

SOOOO special! LOVE these pics! Hoping Jenna can have this same experience in the future--she's been begging but we just feel we can't until we have settled somewhere...and have a job. lol. :)

Wow she is tall!! She looks like she is the tallest in her class. You can feel her passion for it with these pics. Very beautiful. She's going to really appreciate these when she gets older. I can see these in like in an antique frame & a collage!!
these are the sweetest pics! you're emma is piper's age but she reminds me of my Lily so much. just totally sweet, smart and outgoing enough to want to do dance or anything else for that matter. Lily has been in dance since she was 3yr old (with one year doing gymnastics) and then this fall she didn't want to do it after a few months. and i'm sad, i think she'll want to do it again soon cuz she loves dancing, cheer, gymnastics, and is never scared to perform. these pics make me want to sign her up again immediately!
i agree with Tony, you should make a collage for her room!! i should do that, i bet Lily would love it!
I wish I had you take some soccer pics so I could have a pretty blog like this... :) I guess I will have to settle for my friend Kayleigh.
photos like this make me wish for the time to speed by so i can force Ava to take dance classes (I say FORCE because she's less "dance-y" than she is "spazzy"!)
