Ok, this post is probably premature, but I can't contain my excitement!
I was contacted today by the Art Editor of City View Magazine. She's in love with my work. (Her words)
And she wants me to FREELANCE for her MAGAZINE!!!!
Are. You. Kidding. ME???????
I am so beyond excited!
I should have waited until this time tomorrow to post this, because I'm meeting with her tomorrow to discuss this possibility and who knows... she could hate me in person, but I'm just so excited!
I knew good things were coming, but sometimes it's hard to see through the fog of waiting. You know?
And this is a local magazine, but, seriously, I'm just so excited that my work is going to possibly be in a magazine seen by all in my area.
The thought gives me goosebumps. :)

I am of course catching up with your blog and things that I have been missing out on..all the great give always...and such...but this post stuck out severely because...hey...I wasn't expecting to open up the magazine and see what I saw...because I hadn't read this post until now...So...much to my surprise...I see first the add...then the lay out of the wedding shots and the Gerber daisy's...i was so elated that it was your photos being used...now I am even more pleased that you are their freelance photographer...Man that is big girl...city magazine...THATS BIG...and in boy do you deserve it...If I could just have a double dose of some Candace then I might actually get off to a great start at taking some pretty great photos myself...Only if...Great job Candace!!!
