Update on Noah

The pictures below were actually taken last night and in them you can kind of see the redness of his left eye better than in the other pictures I posted yesterday. I think the lighting was too bright when I took the others or something, because it just really did not show how bad his eye looked.

Anyway, it is a lot better this morning. I'm so happy and relieved to report. I was really surprised yesterday at how many people had had experiences with things like this happening with either themselves or their children. I really appreciate all the responses I got (both on here and myspace---those wonderful friends of mine who are obliging enough to come here to read my blogs, but aren't BRAVE enough---hehehehe--- to create an account here yet.. it's okay, I still love all of you and appreciate GREATLY you taking the time to come to a new site to read my blogs... Oh, how I digress...)

So!!! it made me feel a lot better to know that this is not as uncommon as I initially thought it was.. and it is looking A LOT better today!!

Now, the purpose of these pictures.... My boy officially started pulling up to his knees last night! I couldn't believe it when I stumbled upon him at his old bouncy seat... pulled up to his knees, playing with the toys hanging from the toy bar! He is growing up too fast... crawling like a speed demon around the house and now pulling up to his knees....

OH!!!! AND he said MAMA last night! Emma and I were laying on the floor with him saying MA-MA...MA-MA.. you know like us crazy parents do (well, Emma's not his parent, but try telling HER that) when we're trying to convince our babies to say our names for the first time.... saying it over and over five thousand times right in their little faces... Well, he kept studying my lips and moving his mouth like I was moving mine and finally he just blurted... MAMA! I smothered him with a thousand kisses and was instantly transformed into the happiest person on earth. :)~
